皆様、11月17-18日のEU学会大会でもご案内いたしましたように、EUSA Asia Pacificの第20回の大会が、2020年6月25日(木曜）ー26日(金曜）に、New ZealandのChristchurchで開催されます。

タイトルは、「EU の制度的リーダーシップと、EU27か国による新しいプライオリティとチャレンジ」です。混迷する世界の中、EUの新たな枠組みにおける制度化、リーダーシップ、挑戦が問われる年となり、時宜を得たタイトルと言えます。EUSA APは、この大きな枠組みの中で、多くのEU研究者、特に若手研究者が応募してくれることを強く期待しています。つきましては、会員の皆様、院生の皆様、そして理事の皆様が、ぜひ今回も、積極的に応募して下さるようお願いいたします。

特に、EUSA APは、通常日本国内の学会でもなかなか報告の機会のない、大学院修士課程の学生にも門戸を開いており、大学院生ワークショップとして、多くの教授たちがそれを聞き、研究を発展させるようリードしてくれます。現在論文執筆中の院生の方々、また院生を多く抱えている研究者の先生方は、ぜひご自身と共に若手院生にも声をかけ、エンカレッジしていただければと存じます。
登録締め切りは2019年12月末日です。またその時に、報告を希望する者は、報告要旨と簡単なC.V.が求められます。参加費は、50ユーロです。報告をせず参加することも可能ですがその際の登録費も同様に50ユーロです。登録は、12月末日で締め切られますので、ご注意いただき、早めに登録されることをお勧めします。きちんと報告要旨を記入すれば、認められる率は、他の学会に比べて比較的高いと思われます。

＊若手研究者が、EUSA APあるいはその他の国際会議で、報告が認められた場合には、3月末日、9月末日の3回の締め切りまでに、必要資料をそろえて国際交流委員会に送っていただければ、厳正な審査のうえ、国際会議報告助成が支給されます。報告が決まりましたら、こちらも合わせて申請してください。

日本在住の留学生の報告が認められた場合、若手研究助成に応募する資格があります。必要書類をそろえて、添付で国際交流委員会委員長あて、募集締め切り前(3月末日、9月末日）に、メールにて送付してください。

必要書類は以下です。
① 日本EU 学会国際交流助成申請書
② 旅行代理店作成の日程表、運賃の見積り・請求書
③ 主催者からの学会開催通知書、または学会等の名称や情報がわかる資料
④ 報告者の氏名、タイトルが記されたパネル・プログラム、または報告を了承された文書（主催者からのE-mail、書状、ファクスなど）
また帰国後1か月以内に、以下も必要となります。
① 参加した国際学会の最終プログラム
② 領収書
③ パスポートの写し（本人ページおよび渡航先国への出入国がわかるページ）
④ 搭乗券の半券（航空機を利用した場合）

Call for Papers: the 2nd International Conference on European Studies

“Comparing Regionalisms: the EU Model as Reference Point for Integrating Regions”

The European Studies Program of the Ateneo de Manila University is pleased to announce a call for papers for the 2nd International Conference on European Studies – “Comparing Regionalisms: The EU Model as Reference Point for Integrating Regions.”
The post-World War II period has seen the development of regional blocs as individual nation-states sought strategies to cope with the complexities of globalization. These conglomerations of countries have evolved following different trajectories, and adapting to their unique historical circumstances. The majority of the studies on regionalism have tended to focus on the European Union, which is the oldest and most institutionally complex of the existing regional blocs. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in comparative regionalism, looking at how processes, policies, and state dynamics have shaped the integration among neighboring states. This multidisciplinary conference dovetails with this trend by encouraging contributions that compare how regional blocs address political, economic, social, cultural, and legal issues.

2017年度（第38回）研究大会開催および年報執筆について

大会企画委員長・森井裕一

日本 EU 学会第 38 回（2017 年度）研究大会は、 2017 年 11 月 18 日（土）および 19 日（日） に 九州大学（病院キャンパス・馬出九大病院前駅）において開催されることになっております。

つきましては、共通論題および自由論題（経済、法律、政治･社会分野等）についての研究報告希望ならびにご推薦をお願い申し上げます。またこの大会では試行的にポスターセッションも実施いたしますので、こちらへの応募もよろしくお願いいたします。 例年のように『日本 EU 学会年報』第 38 号への執筆希望もあわせて受け付けます。

なお、博多周辺の宿は非常に混み合ってくる恐れがございます。早めにおさえておくことをお勧め申し上げます。

（共通論題）「ローマ条約６０年ー危機の中の再検証」

（趣旨）2017 年にはローマ条約調印から 60 年となりますが、ユーロ危機、難民危機などＥＵは引き続きさまざまな危機の中にあり、イギリスのＥＵ脱退問題もＥＵにとって極めて深刻 な問題です。法律、経済、政治・社会の分野から構成される学際学会である日本ＥＵ学会は、 単にここ数年の複合危機を議論するのみではなく、長期的な視点から統合の成果と問題点 を再検証し、変容する世界の中のＥＵの今後を展望することを試みたいと考えております。「ローマ条約 60 年」に象徴されるように、単にさまざまな危機の現象面を追うのみならず、 長期的な視点からローマ条約の成果を前提としたＥＵ制度、政策を中心に据えつつ、ＥＵ学 会の特徴である学際的な議論を行う報告を歓迎いたします。

具体的には、ＥＵ機関の問題（コミッションの機能、リスボン条約発効後の欧州議会の役 割、EEAS の展開など）、政策と関連する制度の問題（ユーロ危機後の銀行同盟等を含む 「EMU の完成」をはじめとする多様なガバナンスの構築、FRONTEX の改組強化など）、 様々な危機及び危機対応措置がＥＵ法秩序に与える影響、ＥＵを取り巻く国際環境の変化 （地域紛争と難民危機、ロシア・ウクライナ問題、トランプ大統領就任と大西洋関係の変化 など）、ＥＵ構成国内の政治状況の変化（BREXIT、保守化・権威主義化する構成国、ポピ ュリズム政党の台頭）など、多層的な問題を各分野より、様々なアプローチで議論することが可能であろうと思います。 会員の皆様からの積極的な報告希望の提案を期待いたします。

研究大会での報告を申込む際の注意点

報告希望を出される場合、以下の点につき特にご注意頂きますようお願い申し上げます。

  1. 研究大会でのご報告は、 日本ＥＵ学会年報への投稿を前提 としてお願いしておりますので、ご了解いただきますようお願い申し上げます。
  2. 「年報」は原著論文のための学術雑誌であり、 二重投稿は認められておりません 。そのため、年報に投稿予定の論文と同じ内容の論文を他の原著論文誌に投稿しないようにご 注意願います。また、他の原著論文誌に掲載済みもしくは投稿中の論文と同じ内容の論 文を「年報」に投稿することもご遠慮ください。
  3. 所定期日までに完成原稿の提出がない場合、学会年報への論文掲載のための査読対象になりません（年報掲載資格を失うことになります） のであらかじめご了承下さい。なお、その場合でも、研究大会での報告は許可されます。
  4. 九州大会では、ポスターセッションが実施されます。発表希望が認められなかった場 合、ポスターセッションでの発表を希望するか否かを希望申し込み用紙に記入してくだ さい。

また大学院生会員は、報告希望を出す際に、あわせて以下の書類を提出下さい。

  1. 業績リスト(公刊された著書・論文一覧。書式は自由)
  2. A4 用紙で 3 枚程度の報告要旨(含参考文献リスト)

ポスターセッションへの参加を申し込む際の注意点

報告希望を出される場合、以下の点につき特にご注意頂きますようお願い申し上げます。

  1. ポスターセッションは大会 2 日目（11 月 19 日の昼休み）を予定しています。ポスタ ーを会場に貼るだけの参加はできません。ポスター作成者本人が大会に参加してポスターセッションの時間帯に説明を行う義務があります。
  2. ポスターセッション参加者はペーパーを提出し、大会前後に学会サイトに報告論文と 同様にダウンロード可能な状態にすることも可能です。しかしこれは義務ではありませ んので、ペーパーの提出は任意ですが、提出期限等の条件は通常の報告論文と同様とし ます。ポスターセッションでも他学会等との 二重発表は認められておりません 。既に他学会で仕様したポスターの利用はできませんので、ご注意願います。「年報」への掲載を 希望する場合は別途執筆希望もご提出ください。
  3. ポスターの作成方法、規格等詳細については、別紙の説明分「ポスターセッションに ついて」をお読み下さい。
  4. 大学生会員は報告希望と同様に業績リストと A4 用紙で 3 枚程度の報告要旨を提出く ださい。申込時にポスター本体の送付はしないでください。

『日本 EU 学会年報』への執筆希望

学会誌『日本 EU 学会年報』第 38 号は、研究大会の報告を中心に編集する予定ですが、 報告以外の研究論文および書評も掲載したいと考えておりますので、ご執筆のご希望をお 知らせいただければ幸いです（なお大会報告は年報への投稿を前提としておりますので、大 会での報告希望を出す場合には年報の執筆希望を別途提出する必要はありません）。原稿の 締め切りは 2017 年 10 月 20 日（金） とし、字数は、研究論文については 20,000 字以内（注、参考文献、図表を含む）で、これは研究大会の報告を論文とされる場合も同様です。 また書評については 4,000 字以内（同上）です。

採否の決定と提出論文のレフェリー審査

報告者、論文・書評執筆者、ポスターセッション参加者については、企画委員会で検討し たうえで選定させて頂きますが、企画委員会として別途報告者を推薦させて頂く場合もあ ります。最終的には、2017 年 4 月に開催予定の理事会で審議のうえ、決定する予定にして おります。そのため、必ずしもご希望に添えない場合もありますので、予めご了解頂ければ 幸いです。

また、論文の年報への掲載につきましては、レフェリー制度をとっておりますのでご承知 おきください。 完成原稿提出の際には、 日本ＥＵ学会の「投稿規程」「執筆要領」「レフェリー規程」（学会ホームページおよび年報に掲載）をいま一度ご精読頂きますようお願い申し上げます。

報告希望・執筆希望の締切り

準備の都合により、別紙「申込要領」に従い、アンケート用紙に必要事項をご記入のうえ、 2017 年 2 月 27 日(月) 必着で、 添付ファイルにてお送りください。

このたび、福田耕治理事長、小久保康之事務局長、および学会理事の皆様のご協力を得て、2017年7月1日（土）、2日（日）の2日間、EUSA AP（European Union Studies Association Asia Pacific) Tokyo Conference 2017）の国際会議が、東京・青山学院大学にて開催予定でございます。

理事長、事務局長をはじめとして、国際交流委員会（羽場久美子、岩田健治、安江則子、田中俊郎）がEU学会理事会および学会員の皆様のご協力を得て、大会を担います。

日本EU学会の皆様方、また他学会の皆様方も、ぜひ奮って、ご参加およびご報告をいただきたく、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

2017 Conference & Postgraduate Workshop

We are delighted to announce the annual EUSA Asia Pacific conference will be held at Aoyama Gakuin University (Tokyo) and all EU scholars, researchers and postgraduates are invited to apply.

The Roles of the EU and the Asia Pacific in the Global Era

Politics, International Relations, Economics and Law

1+2 July 2017, Tokyo

2017 marks a critical opportunity to analyse a wide range of EU topics and challenges. The broad conference theme reflects these diverse contexts and situations facing the EU over the coming nine months. The Asia Pacific context adds a similar complexity contrasting robust economic development with political and security instabilities in the absence of any clear new regional or world order. How can East Asia become more stable, peaceful and prosperous? What lessons or reflections can the EU and scholars of the integration process offer?

The conference will be organised around panels drawn from the disciplines of Politics, International Relations, Economics and Law. While the conference is open to paper proposals covering all aspects of European integration, we are especially keen to encourage contributions related to the contemporary Euro and immigration crisis, the implications of BREXIT and the first 15 years of monetary union. And, how do these themes affect the Asia Pacific both, negatively and positively?

Practical Information and Timeline

Please register via the online link below before the abstract submission deadline: Collect the necessary information and then complete the online form including the payment of the registration fees (EUR 50). Please note that partially completed forms cannot be saved. At this stage only an abstract of max. 300 words and a short bio of max. 100 words are required. A full paper must be submitted before the conference (see deadline below). Participants will receive access to all full papers submitted for the conference.

  • Submission deadline for abstracts: 31 December 2016
  • Participants will be informed of paper proposal acceptance/decline: 15 March 2017
  • Participants have to confirm attendance: 10 days after the information of acceptance
  • Full paper submission: 31 May 2017

Only papers that will be presented in person will be accepted. No virtual presentations will be permitted. As the organisers have to commit to suppliers and only a limited number of presenters can be invited, EUSAAP will charge 3 nights’ accommodation costs to presenters that have to withdraw after 30 March 2017.

Registration Fees

A moderate registration fee of EUR 50 will be charged for paper presenters and postgraduate students participating in the event. Registration for conference guests will be EUR 30. Registration fees will be charged via PayPal at first registration.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Logistical Information

The conference will be held at the Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan on the Aoyama Campus. Please use this LINK to see a map. The Aoyama University website provides very helpful information on accessing campus and campus maps.

A limited number of hotel rooms will be funded by the organisers for up to three nights’ accommodation in the designated hotel to paper-presenters and workshop participants not living in Japan. To be eligible for the accommodation participants must have submitted the full paper and attend the entire conference. Participants not meeting the requirements will automatically be charged.

We are happy to book additional nights for you (e.g. arriving earlier or departing later) at your own costs. If you wish to extend your stay, please inform Yvonne Grosch by 31 May 2017.

For papers that are co-authored and/or several presenters attending the conference, only one set of costs will be covered. For example, if the paper presentation is shared between two authors we will only cover the costs of one person. The second presenter will be charged the ‘Conference Guest’ registration.

Hotel accommodations for three nights will be provided for paper presenters attending from outside of Japan.

アジア太平洋EU学会（EUSA-AP)・Call for Papers

The European Union Studies Association Asia Pacific (EUSA AP) is inviting papers for the annual conference and Postgraduate Student Workshop.

The conference is entitled:

30 Years after the Single European Act

Wednesday, 29 June and Thursday, 30 June 2016 in Hong Kong

The conference will be multi-disciplinary in focus and we are inviting papers from a wide range of academic disciplines to look at findings in relation to the Single European Act and the Asia Pacific Relationship.

Postgraduate Students working in any area of EU and Asia Pacific relations or European Integration are invited to register as well.
